O’Neill (Laverdiere), Eileen “Cookie” of Dedham, September 19, 2021 at age 75. Devoted mother of Kara Saliba and her husband Carlo of Dedham, Lisa Murphy and her husband Danny of Dedham, and preceded in death by her only son Derek. Also survived by the loves of her life, her 6 grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Jenna, Bella, Ryan and Sarah.
Eileen was a lifelong Dedham resident and was a member of the Dedham High School class of 1963. Our family home at 63 Vincent Rd, was always known to be welcoming and loving safe space to anyone who walked through the front door.
She enjoyed her trips to the casino, traveling, volunteering and was most happy when spending time with her family. She beamed with pride every time she spoke about her grandchildren and enjoyed every minute with them.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, 420 High Street, Dedham on Thursday, September 23rd at 10:30am. Interment Brookdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at stjude.org.
