CHICOPEE ~ Cranford O. Bost Jr., 76 of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Charlotte City Limits, North Carolina on July 25, 1945 a son of the late Cranford O. Bost and Clara (Bell) Bost. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and later in Operation Desert Storm and retired at Westover Air Force Base with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after over 29 years of service. A Military Burial with United States Air Force Honors will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts.
