Christine Gannon, 65

Christine "Chrissy" (Caggiano) Gannon, age 65 of Braintree, formerly of Norton, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Gannon.
Born in Boston, MA on March 23, 1956, she was a loving daughter of the late Regina (Acampora) Centauro and the late Saverio Caggiano.
Chrissy grew up in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston and was a graduate of Roslindale High School. Prior to retiring, she had worked as a Revenue Officer for the Internal Revenue Service in Boston.
A resident of Braintree for the past year, she was a communicant of Saint Clare Church in Braintree. Chrissy loved spending time with her adoring family and was always full of life. she enjoyed music, dancing and making those around her happy and laugh.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Christina M. Gannon of East Wareham, Gregory R. Gannon of Stoughton and Paul M. Gannon of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Giavanna. She was the dear sister of Paul A. Caggiano of Weymouth, Jean McCarthy of Norton, Maria Manning of Braintree and Barbara Finney of Norton. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25th at 12:00 P.M. at Saint Clare Church, 1244 Liberty Street, Braintree. Burial will be private.
