Horacio Arias, 44, of Ventura, passed away on August 25, in Ventura, California.
Horacio was born in Santa Barbara to Salvador and Ignacia Arias on August 19, 1977.
He went to Ventura High School and graduated in 1995. He went on to earn a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo
Horacio played Little League Baseball for seven years earning MVP awards three times
He is survived by his brother Jose Manuel Arias (Maria G.), Alexandra, Daniel and Xochilth, sister Rosalba Valdepena (Gil) Evan, Julio, sister Maria Elena, and sister Josefina Goodrich (Chris) Christopher and nephews Fernando, Froylan Jr., Christian Huerta, and Steven B. Arias. He is preceded in death by his father Salvador Arias, mother Ignacia Arias, brother Ignacio Arias, and sister Guillermina Huerta.
Family and friends are invited to a Visiting Hours on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura. Mass will be held at Mission Basilica San Buenaventura Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
