D’Arcy, Norah “Monica” (Fennessy) of West Roxbury, formerly of Lismore, Co. Waterford, Ireland, died peacefully at home after a short illness on September 1, 2021. The beloved wife of the late Christopher ”Chris” D’Arcy of West Roxbury. Loving mother of Ann Marie Glynn and her husband Frank of Quincy, MA, the late Caroline Trainor and her husband Kevin of Dedham, David D’Arcy and his wife Lynne of Dedham, MA and Christopher D’Arcy and his wife Julie of Salem, NH. Dear sister of Margaret “Peg” Dempsey and her husband Sean Dempsey of Birmingham, England and James “Noel” Fennessy and his wife Evelyn Fennessy of Bourne, MA. She is predeceased by her siblings Patrick Fennessy, Mary Kearny, John Fennessy, Ellen “Ciss” Fennessy and Kathleen Ennis. Devoted grandmother of Brendan Glynn, Shannon Glynn, Timothy Glynn, Emily D’Arcy, Shane D’Arcy, Caitlin Trainor, Kyle Trainor and Alexis D’Arcy. Monica was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who was adored by her family and friends. Monica will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday, September 8th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock (To live stream the mass, go to www.sttheresaparishboston.com). Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
