Mr. Paul J. Corolla, Sr., of Medford formerly of Boston's North End passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 15, 2021 following a lengthy illness. He was 77 years of age. Paul is the beloved husband of Pamela M. (Pagliuca) Corolla with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Frances (Zanfani) Corolla.

Paul was raised and educated in Boston where he was a graduate of the Christopher Columbus High School and went on to further his education attending Northeastern University and earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Paul worked as a dedicated accountant with the Polaroid Corporation for 45 years prior to his retirement. In his leisure time Paul enjoyed traveling, especially to his home in Highland Beach, FL, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Boston sports fan. Proud of his North End roots, Paul also enjoyed being active over the years with the Friends of the North End organization. However his greatest joy was his cherished granddaughters, they were truly the apple of his eye and his pride and joy. He was their number one fan always front and center to support them in all their school and sporting activities. He loved being always able and willing to help out chauffeuring them back and forth to all their activities. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and those he loved and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his beloved wife Pamela, Paul is survived by his devoted children, Paul J. Corolla, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Melrose, and Melissa McInnis and her husband Thomas of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Caeleigh and Brigid Corolla, Meryn, Ainsley and Isla McInnis. Also survived by his K9 grandpups Sugar and Doolin. Brother of Irene Constantine of Winchester and brother-in-law of Deborah Salvucci, Marian Stuart, Lois Costa and Diane Pagliuca all of Medford. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, August 18th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 a.m. Interment services will be private.
