Robert “Steve” Crow, 72, of Paterson, passed away peacefully at his home on August 8, 2021.
He was born in Prosser on June 10, 1949 to Robert and Lois (Churchill) Crow. Steve was raised in Paterson and graduated from Prosser High School in 1967. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on January 3, 1969 and served in Vietnam until he was honorably discharged on October 20, 1970.
Steve married Judith Baumgart on July 1, 1971 in Hermiston and the couple made their home in Paterson where they raised their two sons. He owned and operated the Paterson Store from 1982 until 2002, when he retired. Steve was also caretaker of the Paterson Cemetery for many years.
He was a member of the Prosser VFW and loved drag racing and working on cars. Most of all Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Judy Crow; his son, Robert (Jessica) Crow; and three grandchildren, Marlee, Clay and Robert Crow all of Paterson; his brother, Danny (Sandy) Crow of West Richland; and one niece and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Crow in 1992 and his parents.
