Gabriel G. “Gary” DiFranza, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away on Friday, July 23rd. He was 71. Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Michael and Margaret (Miraglia) DiFranza. Gary was a weather guru. He enjoyed watching the daily weather forecast on the news and reading articles from his extensive collection of weather related books and magazines.

Gary was the dear brother of Joanne DiFranza of Medford, and Maria Gore and her husband Richard of Wilmington. He was the loving uncle of Michael Gore and his fiancée Melissa Maimone of Chelmsford, and Joe Gore and his fiancée Renee Lucia of Billerica.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 29th from 10 to 11 AM, in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
