Bridget M. Vitale of Medford passed away on Thursday, July 22nd. She was 88. Born and raised in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Anthony and Frances (Di Mino) Vitale.

Bridget had a caring disposition, with a heart of gold. She had a friendly demeanor and was always positive. Bridget loved to entertain, spending time with her girlfriends while they enjoyed sipping on a hot cup of coffee, dancing the night away and baking the best almond crusted cookies. Bridget’s biggest passion was spending time with her family, especially her children they were her world.

Bridget was the devoted mother of Josephine ‘Jo’ Spada, Frances ‘Franny’ Mitchell and her husband Steven of Pelham, NH, and Margaret ‘Margie’ Goode and her husband Walter of Nahant. She was the loving Gram of Christina Totilo and her husband Carlo, Stephen Mitchell, Eileen Mitchell, Danielle Moncalieri and her husband Joseph, Jessica Goode and her husband Heath and the late Nicholas Mitchell. She was the caring Great Gram of Nicholas Jr., and Aubriella Mitchell and Liliana and Joseph Jr. Moncalieri. She was the dear sister of Angela Vecchiarello and her husband Nick. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, July 27th at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
