Maureen A. McMahon, a resident of Middleton, passed away at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly on Thursday morning, July 15, 2021.
Born in and raised in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Beals) McMahon. Maureen attended Northeastern University and started working at Logan Airport shortly thereafter. She spent close to 20 years working at the airport during the week and driving her son to swim meets across New England on the weekends. Later in life, Maureen was a Retail Associate at Macy's, spending 20 years working at the Danvers, Cambridge, and Burlington locations. In her spare time, Maureen enjoyed practicing yoga, meeting with friends at the health club, attending family events, and planning her next trip to Disney World. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Maureen is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law; Jason J. and Julie S. Gray of Andover and grandchildren Olivia and Harrison Gray, both of Andover.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 4 to 7 PM.
