Marie A. (Keymont) Goffredo, of Dedham, MA, passed peacefully Wednesday, July 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Matthew J. Goffredo, for 46 years; devoted mother of Matthew Jr. and his wife, Ann of Long Island, NY; George and his wife, Elora of Norfolk, MA; Patricia Rinn and her husband, Robert of Foxboro, MA; Sandra Jeffries and former husband Paul of Mashpee, MA; Lisa Rogers, with whom she lived, and her late husband, Dennis; Joanne Rogers and her husband, Michael, all of Dedham, MA; and the late John E. and his wife Deborah. Loving grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 19, and many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Raymond Keymont, and the late Walter & Ronald Keymont and Rita Daly.
Marie dedicated her professional career to healthcare; working different jobs at local healthcare facilities for over 30 years. She was a member of the local Red Hat Society, as well as the Moose Lodge #2073 in Merritt Island, FL.
Marie will be remembered for her loving heart, compassion for others and quick wit. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Over the years, she thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time with them, who endearingly referred to her as “Grammy” or “GG”. Whether it was doing ceramics, crocheting, sharing her recipes and passion for baking, or spending time around the family pool; she created memories her loved ones will cherish forever. She also cherished her second home in Florida; where she spent her time socializing with friends, playing bingo and taking in the sun at her favorite beaches. She was actively involved in the community and will be remembered by all.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, MA, Monday at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, MA, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-8 p.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury, MA.
