BARRETT, DAVID M. age 66, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021. Born in Kingston, Rhode Island November 5, 1954 to the late Robert A. Barrett and Barbara M. (DeGouff). David was a proud Millwright for over 35 years and a member of union local 1121 Boston Ma. Loving father of Tonya M. Foster and her husband Jay of Whitman, David M. Barrett, Jr. of New York and Andrew Barrett of North Carolina. Devoted “Papa’ of Autumn and Grayson. Dear brother of Robert Barrett of Quincy, Ann Cournoyer and her husband Paul of Rhode Island, Jeanne Cameron and her late husband Michael of Foxboro and Barbara Barrett and her husband Richard Doherty of Dedham. He was predeceased by his brothers Michael K., Paul J. and William M. Barrett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. At David’s request services will be private.
