Obituary

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, “Ginger” went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on July 20, 1924, at home in Westminster, Texas. She was married for 73 years, raised three children, ran a day care center in her home and was a seamstress.

For decades she volunteered at Community Presbyterian Church where she and her husband founded Pathfinders for young married couples and was involved with “Family to Family” which fed the homeless.

She enjoyed playing the piano, painting, decorating Ukrainian eggs, gourmet cooking, testing baking recipes for Betty Crocker, gardening, golfing and traveling- especially cruises. She loved family and always looked for orphans to share her holiday meals.

She will be remembered for her fun-loving nature, hugs and generosity.

She is survived by her children Frances, Mark and Steven; grandchildren Randy, Penny, Tipton, Kelly, Kate and John-Christian and great grandchildren Alexandria, Dylan, Ava, Luke, Jemma, James, Fjord and Axel.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the caring staff of Assisted Hospice and The Palms Memory Care.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph P Reardon Funeral Home.

A graveside service was held for the immediate family on Saturday, July 10th.
