Alan E. Lessa, 55, of Acushnet, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the longtime spouse of Melanie Dessert, they shared 12 years together.
Mr. Lessa was born in Columbus, GA, son of William Lessa and his wife Diane of FL and the late Rita Y. (Clark) Lessa and had been a longtime resident of Acushnet. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was known for being a Jack of All Trades who could fix almost anything. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved 80's music and his cat Willow. He will be remembered for his funny sense of humor and willingness to help anyone.
Survivors also include his son: Jacob Lessa of Fall River; 2 daughters: Kara Lessa of Fall River and Sarah Lessa of New Bedford; his brother: William "Billy" Lessa and his wife Tara of ME; his sister: Teresa Lessa and her husband Tony of FL; 6 grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
