Donna M. (Gangemi) Caulfield, age 62, of Norton, passed away peacefully, in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the beloved wife of James F. Caulfield, to whom she was wed for forty-one years.
Born in Boston, MA on December 31, 1958, she was a loving daughter of the late Peter Gangemi, Sr. and Theresa (LeBlanc) Ely.
Donna grew up in the Brighton and Hyde Park neighborhoods of Boston, was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and received her certificate in hairdressing from the Bojack Beauty Academy.
A resident of Norton for the past twenty-eight years, Donna had worked as a hair stylist at Studio 63 Salon in Norton and previously for many years at Outlooks Hair Salon, also in Norton.
Donna’s life was centered around her husband, sons and grandson, whom she loved dearly. She had a special place in her heart for the ocean, her favorite places of destination being Nantasket Beach in Hull and vacationing in Aruba.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted sons: James P. Caulfield of Norton, Michael C. Caulfield and his wife Mary of Haverhill and Christopher J. Caulfield and his wife Meghan of Sagamore Beach. She was the cherished grandmother of Dominic Caulfield-Duverger. She was the dear sister of Darlene Johnson of Millbury, Anthony Gangemi of Sandwich, Peter Gangemi, Jr. of Stoughton and Billy Gangemi of Stoughton. She was the stepdaughter of Joan Gangemi of Florida and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 6th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 7th at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
