Mr. David A. Loud, of Medford passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by those he loved, Friday, May 28, 2021. He was 75. David is the beloved husband of Diane M. (Zirpolo) Loud and together they shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Cambridge, David was the son of the late Albert and Genevieve (Hess) Loud.

David was raised and educated in Somerville and was a 1964 graduate of Somerville High School. He proudly and honorably served in the Army National Guard. He worked for over fifty years as a knowledgeable and trusted salesperson in the electrical supply industry. He worked for over thirty years with Hilco Electrical Supply Company and later for Granite City Electric for twenty years prior to his retirement. In his leisure time, David enjoyed freshwater fishing, trips to the casino, good food and dining with friends and family. For most of his life, David enjoyed vacationing and spending time every summer at Newfound Lake in Bristol, New Hampshire. He was happiest when he was with his family and those he loved. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his beloved wife, David is survived by his sons, Mark Loud of Medford, and his loving companion Karen Jackson, David Loud, Jr. and his wife Julie of Estero, FL. He was the loving grandfather of Mark Loud, Jr., Arianah Loud, Olivia Loud and Sophia Loud. Brother of the late Richard Loud and his surviving wife Linda Loud of Medford.

Funeral services for David will be held from the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Wednesday, June 2nd, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Visiting hours will be held at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 1st, from 4 to 7 p.m.
