Patricia A. Williamson
5/26/2021

On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, Patricia Williamson, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 53.
Patricia was a passionate New England Patriots fan, who loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed time spent on the boat. A consummate outdoorswoman, she also enjoyed hiking, letterboxing, camping, bike riding and visits to the cape.
An animal lover through and through, Patricia enjoyed taking her beloved dog, Dexter, for long walks. She operated a dog-walking service where she happily walked over 8 dogs individually every day of the week for more than 3 years. She adored each and every one of her K-9 clients, and often had stories to tell about their furry antics.
As an avid runner who participated in many 5ks, Patricia translated her passion for the outdoors and her can-do attitude into advocacy for cancer research, especially childhood cancer. She was on the leadership committee for the Relay for Life of Greater Braintree, and was the Team Captain of Rays of Hope, a team that participated in the Relay for Life of Braintree for over 10 years. During that time, she organized fundraisers and events to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 30 years, Todd Williamson, and their two sons, Frederick and George Williamson, all of Canton, MA.
Though Patricia had a large family, there was always room in her heart for more. She will be remembered by her sisters, Judith Strumski, and her husband Charles, Loretta Blakely, and her husband Mark, Mary Dindy, and Nancy Olden. She will also be remembered by her brother, Lewis Olden, and his wife Linda. She will be greatly missed by her many loving nieces, nephews and friends, including Jessica Nauyokas, and her husband Matthew and their daughter Vivian of Canton, MA. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved, loyal companion, Dexter the Akita.
Patricia was the daughter of George L. and Evelyn Olden (Smith) of Canton, MA, who preceded her in death along with her brother James E. Olden.
