Harold (Hal) David Ranzenhofer, age 95, of Port Hueneme, California, passed away on May 7, 2021 at his home. He was born in New York City to Frederick and Sadie Ranzenhofer on August 23, 1925. He earned a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from New York University, served in the Army, enjoyed traveling and lived abroad for a time, he liked to race cars, was an avid reader and spent time researching history, particularly World War I.
Hal is survived by a niece, nephew, a great niece, two great nephews, and two step daughters. He is preceded in death by his first wife Joan and second wife Beverly and two sisters Lucille and Florence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to any animal shelter or pet rescue.
