Michael E. Minnock, age 67, of Brockton, died May 3, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Francis E. and Josephine T. (Kelly) Minnock. Mike was raised and educated in Brockton and was a 1973 graduate of Brockton High School. For many years he was a union bricklayer in the south shore area. Time spent with family and at the Cape were important to him.
Mike was sociable and also enjoyed spending time with friends at the Enterprise Club, Bertocci Club, Boche Club, Club National, Conte Memorial Club and the White Eagles of Buzzards Bay. At the time of his passing, he was President of the Earle Street Association.
Mike was the father of Maureen Fallon and her husband Jim of Winchendon and Michael Minnock (BPD) and his wife Kara of East Bridgewater; fiancé of Jennifer Garcia of Hong Kong; grandfather of June Minnock, Shaun Minnock and Jillian, Ryan, Jack and Anna Fallon. He was the brother of Timothy Minnock and his wife Kathleen of Wareham, Francis Minnock and his wife Gerri Sperazza of Wellesley, Eileen Jones and her husband Bill of Stuart, FL, Kelly Lynch and her husband James of Wareham, Grace Minnock of Onset and the late Kathleen Maiorano and her late husband Stephen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, May 8, from 9-11am, with a funeral service at 11am. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Masks must be worn and social distancing observed in the funeral home.
