Maria Casali Ulloa passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Beth Israel Hospital on Saturday April 17th. She was 50. A life-long Medford resident, Maria attended Boston College and earned her Bachelor Degree in English literature and a Master’s Degree in literary criticism. Maria worked in the world of finance throughout her career and served as a web content manager for Global Services at the Bank of America. A wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister, Maria was devoted to her family. She loved to travel with her husband and family and always loved trips to Europe. In recent times, she enjoyed time at the family summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee.

The beloved wife of Alexander Daniel Ulloa, Maria was an adoring mother to Alexander Joseph Ulloa. The devoted daughter of John and Constance “Connie” Casali, Maria was the loving sister of Dana Casali and her fiancé Anthony Natola, Traci Casali, and Janna Burns and her husband Darien. She was the dear aunt of Arianna Burns, Benjamin and Lucy Davis. The daughter-in-law of Francisco and Joanne Ulloa, she was the sister-in-law of Kate Davis and her husband Jeff.

Maria’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, April 23rd at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday 4 - 8 PM. Please observe social distancing customs while in attendance.
