Margaret T. Villeneuve (Torpey) passed away on April 10. She was 87 years old. Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Jean E. Villeneuve. Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, she was the cherished daughter of the late Henry and Marguerite (Tyrrell) Torpey.

Margaret loved music and enjoyed singing. She traveled extensively throughout her life and visited many countries. Margaret was also an avid writer.

Margaret was the dear sister of Robert Torpey and his wife Moira of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Patricia A. Santapaola and her late husband Anthony of West Peabody, the late Henry Torpey and his surviving wife Joanne of Haverhill, the late Rita Butt and her late husband Ronald, the late Janet Maines and her late husband Kenneth and the late Richard Torpey and his late wife Shirley. Margaret is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Margaret’s funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, on Monday, April 19, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Please omit flowers. Following the Mass, her urn will be brought to Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.
