Obituary

Dolores A. Gile, 87, of Londonderry, NH, died Thursday April 8, 2021, in Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She was born in Derry, NH on April 21, 1933, a daughter of Joseph and Cecile (Paquin) Rioux. Dolores was a communicant of St Jude Parish of Londonderry and served as their lector. She greatly enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing and loved to travel. Her faith and family meant everything to her and she was deeply devoted to both. Always willing to help those in need, she lived her life with a simple and caring philosophy.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Francis Gile of Londonderry; son, Paul Gile and wife Robin of Londonderry; daughter, Lisa DiNiteo and husband Raymond of E. Derry, NH; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Roland Rioux of Derry and Raymond Rioux of Londonderry; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dolores is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Rioux and sister Marie Pollock.

The Gile family would like to express our appreciation to the staff and caregivers at the Elliot Hospital GPU for their love and care of Dolores at the end of her life.

A walk-through wake with masks, social distancing and limited interaction with the family will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 9:00am to 10:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry.
