Michael R. Vallee, 65, of Farnum Pike, Smithfield, passed away Friday April 2nd in his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Claudia Vallee. They had been married for 37 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Gerard R Vallee, and the late Simone (Bedard) Vallee. He had lived in Smithfield his entire life.
Mike had worked at Okonite Wire and Cable Company in Cumberland for over 20 years until he became disabled and retired.
Mike was a New England Patriots fan, loved to do Woodworking, play a round of golf, and play pool.
He is Survived by his 4 children; Heather Vallee, Michael Vallee Jr., Sara (Vallee) Byer and her husband Bret and Christopher Vallee, his two brothers Mark Vallee, and Robert Makarski, and his eight loving grandchildren Grace, Austin, Kathrin, Madison, Abigail, Andy, Taylor, and Parker. His granddaughter Abigail was born the same day as him, December 25th and shared a special bond.
Visitation is private. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday April 13th, 10am at St. Michael’s Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI. Due to Covid 19 restrictions limited seating, social distancing guidelines and face masks must be worn during Mass.
