Babette "Babs" Jean (Overholser) Harmon, 88, of Anderson, died March 31, 2021 at Rawlins House after a brief illness.
She was born May 3, 1932 in Anderson, the daughter of Arthur and Velma (Harless) Overholser. She was a homemaker, raising four children with her husband, Russell Harmon. Babs also worked at Edgewood Pharmacy and Maier's Supermarket. She was a member of Good Sam's and Happy Cruisers.
Babs is survived by her three sons, Steve (Connie) Harmon and Duane (Stacy) Harmon all of Anderson and Mike (Michelle) Harmon of Alexandria; sister, Roberta Tittle of Swayzee; eight grandchildren, Stephen and Madalynn Harmon, Chase and Carley Buck, Holly and Ryan Cleckley, David Caves, Christy Sylvester (companion Tom Harrison); four great-grandchildren, Austin Caves, Jasmine (Austin) Jarvis, Hunter and Malissa Harrison; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russell, and her daughter, Debra (Harmon) Sylvester.
Services will be Noon on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
