Boyd Joe Garrison, 75, of Anderson passed away on March 25, 2021 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on October 2, 1945 in Anderson to David and Autie (Hisle) Garrison.
He was a stationary engineer in Boiler Room at Guide Lamp in Anderson for 34 years and retired in 1998.
He served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Daleville Masonic Lodge #730, Elks Lodge #209 and the Moose Lodge #150. He was an avid hunter, gun collector and enjoyed playing golf.
Survived by his daughter, Carrie (Michael) Shaw of Anderson; a stepson, Tony (Amy) Brandon of Alexandria; domestic associate, Barbara Gomm of Anderson; 2 granddaughters, Alexandra Westrater and Angela Pearson both of Anderson; 3 great-grandchildren, Henry, Crimson and Annabelle Garrison; and a cousin, Mike (Pam) Stephenson of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Autie Garrison
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Anderson Moose Lodge, 225 E. Pine Street, Anderson, IN 46012 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
Memorial Contributions may be given to: National Rifle Association.
