Mary Catherine Ceriani, gently entered eternity March 4 at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Wellesley at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her parents, Giacomo and Rose (Beverina) Ceriani, her twin sister, Rose, her sister, Ermelinda and her brother, Charles. Mary served as a housekeeper for several families in the Wellesley area for several years before coming to work with the Sisters of Charity, Halifax at Mount Saint Vincent and Elizabeth Seton Residence, Wellesley with whom she resided for over 65 years. Mary was a strong, hard-working woman who weathered much adversity in her early childhood years. She was a fine, gracious, generous and loving friend to the sisters, the staff at both Marillac and Elizabeth Seton residences, the Saint James community, and the ladies of the À Kempis Circle. Because of Covid restrictions funeral services are private. Donations in memory of Mary may be send to Sisters of Charity, Halifax, Mount Saint Vincent, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley, MA 02481.
