Kory K. Powell, age 46, a lifelong resident of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
Born in Boston, MA on August 27, 1974, he was a loving son of Donna M. (Roberts) Powell of Taunton and Lymon K. Powell of Taunton.
Kory grew up in Taunton and was educated in Taunton schools. He had formerly worked as a sheet rocker and along with his family was a communicant of the former Saint Paul’s Church in Taunton.
Kory loved spending time amongst family and friends. He had a fetish for collecting sneakers, enjoyed watching action movies and was a major sports enthusiast, football being his favorite.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted children: Nicholas, Jillian, Gage, Andre and his grandchildren: Collin and Finley. He was the dear brother of Korinna Powell and Derek Powell, both of Taunton. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews, including Avonnah and Danny, his grandfather Adam of Norton, as well as his aunts and uncles.
