John Bynoe of Boston, MA, was born unto John Sr. and Marian Bynoe on August 2, 1970. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his home on January 31, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. John graduated from Mario Umana School of Science (1989), Massachusetts Communication College for Recording Arts (1996), and Kaplan Career Institute ( 2013), where he obtained his Electrician Certification. He met the love of his life, Jeannie, on May 29, 1994 and married her on July 26, 2008. To this union three children were born: Daejohn, Jeremiah and Giana. John was a jack of all trades; his work was not just limited to music, he worked as an electrician, UBER driver, PCA worker (to his father & mother-in-law, Geronimo and Lucille Malone).

John was known for his warm radiant smile that could convince anyone to change their mind. He loved to talk about music (favorite song “Heartbeat” by Taana Gardner), movies, goals, family, dreams and God. He was a family-oriented, loving husband, father, son and brother. John’s favorite foods were cheeseburgers, fries, and a soft drink of his choice.

John gave his life to Jesus Christ on October 1, 2000 at Timothy Baptist Church and was baptized upon the profession of his faith. He rededicated his life to Jesus Christ on August 7, 2019 in Detroit, Michigan at the Thomas Dorsey Conference. John developed a strong relationship with Christ and loved to study with one of his favorite people, Aunty Alberta. John worked in several ministries at the church (Music Ministry as a sound booth technician, Men’s Fellowship, and as a volunteer with VBS and YEC). Anything anyone needed, John provided a hand. He traveled to many places with his best brother, Jeff “2Times” pursuing his favorite passion, “music”. John had love for music since the age of 9 and watched others to birth his talent. He eventually could make music with his eyes closed! He loved his children deeply, always thinking of the unthinkable like ironing the kids’ socks to stay warm on their feet. He even sewed up his sister Sonya’s sock when she had a hole in it. He loved his mom and dad and spoke about cherished memories they provided for his life. He had a love and respect for his pastor, Rev. Dr. Larry Green, Sr. They talked, shopped together, and had a special bond.
