Jean J. Gauthier, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021 following a brief illness. Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Rene and Anita (St. Pierre) Gauthier.
Jean was employed for many years as a skilled machinist for General Electric in Lynn in the turbine engine aircraft division. He was a resident of Salem for all of his life and was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Parish, where he served as an usher, and is now part of the Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish in Salem.
He is survived by his Brother, Nelson Gauthier and his wife Beth of Beverly, his sister, Muriel Vousboukis and her husband Daniel of Swampscott, Three nephews: Stephen Vousboukis & Christopher Vousboukis and his wife Rebecca MacNeil, Kevin Gauthier and his wife Lisa and his niece Danielle Vousboukis.
