Eugene R. Pineault, 79, of Fall River, passed away at home on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Lucetta (Costa) Pineault for 53 years. Mr. Pineault was born in Fall River, son of the late Ferdinand and Pearl (Raymond) Pineault. He was a Veteran of Foreign Wars, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Gene enjoyed farming, gardening, as well as researching herbal remedies for ailments. As a Licensed Social Worker for 26 years, he loved helping others working in nursing homes and later for The Fall River Council on Aging, advocating for the needs of the elderly. Prior to his retirement, he was the co-owner of the former 1851 Adirondack Farm Walk in Fall River, where he would explain the importance of agriculture and land preservation to visitors.
Survivors along with his beloved wife include his son David G. Pineault, his daughter Michelle J. Emory, brother Robert W. Pineault, and grandson John G. Pineault, along with several nieces and nephews.
