William J. Purdie Jr., age 67, passed away January 13, 2021 in Tampa, FL. Born in Medford, he was raised in Canton and was a graduate of Canton High School Class of 1971. He was a proud Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. After his service in the Army he moved to Florida and was a carpenter by trade. He was the son of the late William J. Purdie Sr. and Margaret (Conley) Purdie. Brother of Carol Tracy and her husband Harris of Stoughton, James W. Purdie of Stoughton and the late Kathleen Purdie of Canton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Burial will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National in Bourne, MA. | |||||
