Ruth Marie Dincecco born on March 24, 1952 died peacefully in her home on January 14, 2021 surrounded by her family. Ruth was one of South Shore’s leading Real Estate agents prior to her illness.

Ruth was raised in Quincy, MA and graduated from Quincy High School. Upon graduation she attended a dental technical school, earning her certificate as a Certified Dental Assistant. However, shortly after she changed careers embarking on her life’s desire becoming a Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Over the course of her career, she earned several National Association of Realtors designations including CRB ~ Certified Real Estate Broker, CRS ~ Certified Residential Specialist, ABR ~ Accredited Buyer Representative, GRI ~ Graduate Realtors Institute. Her memberships included the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, North Bristol County Board of Realtors, South Shore Chapter ~ Women’s Council of Realtors. She was also on the Head Start Policy Council and a member of Norton Women of Today.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Philip Dincecco and her two children Timothy Donovan II, and Nicole Marie Donovan and her boyfriend Aaron Talbot. Her stepdaughters, Michele Dincecco and boyfriend Kerry Hall, Nicole Dincecco and husband Scot Blodgett, Renee (Dincecco) Stewart and husband William Stewart. Ruth was Nana to her grandchildren, Michael Covel, Crystyliah Covel, Kaylee Talbot, Erica Dincecco, Marc Dincecco, Aiden Stewart and great-grandmother of Aubree. She was the dear sister of Carol (Monti) Mazzeo of Randolph and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Mary (Padula) Monti, and her sisters Rosemary (Monti) Graziano and Barbara (Monti) Petta.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, January 20th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 21st at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Newland Cemetery in Norton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
