Maria T. (Bonsignore) Mercurio, 88, of Medford, passed away January 1, 2021.

She was born and raised in Termini Imerese, Sicily, the daughter of the late Rosario and Rosalia (Testa) Bonsignore. Maria was strong and courageous after losing her husband of only two years of marriage. She was employed by Priscilla of Boston, where she was an assistant designer. The gown she helped create which she was most proud of was that of the daughter of President Johnson.

She raised two children Maria DiBenedetto and Joseph Mercurio, who is a veteran, and the aunt of Joel Remmer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford, on Wednesday, January 13th, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
