LOEWEN, Frederick P., Jr. Retired Dedham Firefighter, of Dedham, December 31, 2020. Beloved husband of Lorraine (Fontana) Loewen. Devoted father of Frederick P. Loewen, III and his wife Marie of Attleboro, David J. Loewen of Dedham, Mark F. Loewen and his wife Wendy of Plainville, Bruce E. Loewen of Dedham, Dawn Marie Lacerda and her husband Kenneth of Franklin, Matthew Loewen of Dedham, and the late Daniel Loewen. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Margaret Hassey of Attleboro and the late Dorothy Loewen, Evelyn Bartelt, Betty Moorfield, and Barbara Chace.
Fred was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the Dedham Knights of Columbus and the Dedham Retired Men’s Club.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Monday, Jan. 4 from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Please follow all Covid-19 guidelines. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
