MONAHAN, Theresa M. (Collins) Of West Roxbury, passed peacefully on December 20, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late John J. Monahan; daughter of the late Martin and Mary Catherine Collins. Predeceased by her sisters Margaret and Mary, brothers Thomas and Joseph and her beloved friend, John “Duffy” Doherty. Survived by her children: John J. Monahan and his wife Marybeth of Hanover, Patricia McGee and her husband Matthew, Maria Walsh and her husband Kevin, Denise Henry and her husband Ralph all of West Roxbury, Janet McKeeney of Westwood, Terry McIntosh and her husband Timothy, Christine DiCenso and her husband Stephen also of West Roxbury, along with 13 cherished grandchildren Mary Kate, Michael, Daniel, Sean, Molly, Caroline, Shannon, Timothy, Beth, Bridget, Olivia, Jack and Julie as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Former President, Lynch Taxi South Boston, MA and administrative assistant for the Town of Brookline School Department. Funeral from Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, on Thursday, December 24th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury. Visiting hours Wednesday, December 23rd from 4pm to 7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
