“Nancy, Ma, Nana and Ninny, we love you more!”


Nancy LeBlanc of Medford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 11th. She was 88. Born in Arlington, she was the daughter of the late George and Angelina (Corella) Belcastro.

Nancy loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy’s family were her pride and joy; they were her world. She had a caring disposition and a heart of gold. She would help anyone in need; there was no one she would turn away even if it meant she was to go without.

Nancy was a talented seamstress. Nancy made all of her children’s wardrobes during their childhood as well as their Halloween costumes. One of the most recent costumes that she made was Glinda the good witch from the Wizard of Oz for her great-granddaughter Taylor. When she was not sewing, Nancy was crocheting comfy Afghans. She enjoyed crafting and supplied everyone snow men and other holiday crafts during the all of the holidays. Nancy was also famous for her Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

Nancy was the devoted wife of Eugene “Sonny” LeBlanc for 71 years. She was the devoted mother of Linda White and her partner Linda Maon, of Stoneham, Carol Lundin and her late husband Kevin, of Saugus, Ann Marie LeBlanc Balian and her husband Dave, of Medford, and the late Jackie Cronin. Nancy was the loving Nana of Joey Lundin and his wife Katie “Finn”, of Seabrook, NH, and Julie Lundin and her fiancé Mike Bayliss, of Saugus. She was the loving Ninny of Taylor Ventrice of Saugus, and Savannah Rose Lundin of Seabrook, NH. Nancy was the dear sister of Poncho Belcastro and his wife Carol, John Belcastro and his late wife Donna, and the late Sammy, Al, and Joe Belcastro, and Ann Diorio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
