Alan R. Wordell, 69, of Brockton, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Brockton VA Hospital.
Born in Fall River, son of Shirley M. (Jones) Wordell of Westport and the late Richard H. Wordell, he grew up in Westport. He was a graduate of Westport High School, Class of 1969. A United States Navy veteran, he served on the U.S.S. Talbot. Mr. Wordell loved dairy farming in Westport and was a member of the Future Farmers of America. He was an avid New England sports fan and he loved spending time with his friends.
Including his mother, he is survived by 3 sisters: Ann Chouquette of Dartmouth, Kathleen Corbeil and her husband Albert of Westport and Deborah Zatkowski and her husband Stanley of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
