AGAWAM – Alice A. (Wolanin) Robitaille, 73, of Agawam and a former longtime resident of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 14, 2020. She passed into Eternal Life at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on February 17, 1947, a beloved daughter of the late Joseph J. and Beatrice (Barna) Wolanin. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee High School and lived in Chicopee for many years before moving to Agawam around 2000. She was employed as an Administrative Secretary at Baystate Medical Center and retired around 2010. During her leisure time, she enjoyed boating. Most of all, she loved her family and her many friends. She leaves her two loving children, John M. Robitaille and his wife, Mandi, of Ware and Michelle M. Brown of Agawam; her loving fiancé, Joseph R. Giannetti of Agawam; her two cherished grandsons, Nichlaus J. Robitaille and his fiancée, Megan, and Cameron R. Robitaille and his wife, Taryn; her dear sister, Maryann Gouin and her husband, Roger, of Springfield; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and numerous friends. In addition to her family, she will be sadly missed by her loving feline companion, her cat Bella. Her funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family.
