Obituary

Margaret Ann Fogo, 76, lifetime resident of Ventura county, California passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones on August 29th 2020.
Born to Edwin and Betty Grainger May 19th 1944 in Santa Barbara, Margaret spent her youth in Santa Paula, graduating from Santa Paula High School in 1962.
Margaret was employed as a Psychiatric Technician at Camarillo State Hospital where she met and soon after married Richard N. Fogo on December 5, 1964.
She then became a mother and homemaker. Her shining achievement was caring for her family.
Some of her interests included: cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, trivia, roses, animals, contributing to charities, and spending time with her family. She passed down many treasured traditions such as bringing Christmas cookies to the neighbors every year.
Her caring nature impacted the lives of many through contributions to several animal and humanitarian charities.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Richard, son Scott Fogo (Yvonne), daughter Jennifer Hooson (Jason), brother Roger Grainger, granddaughters Hayley Hooson, Elizabeth Fogo, Sarah Fogo, Juliana Hooson, Allison Hooson, beloved nieces and nephews, her uncle Don Grainger, many cousins, and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Edwin, mother Betty, and brother Dennis.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at a later date and time.
We will love and miss her always.
