LAWRENCE, Durand age 41, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Boston on October 16, 1978, the loving son of Gigi Lawrence and Norman Hart. He was the stepson of Oscar Florence. Cherished father of Lymarie and Durand Jr. of New York. Devoted brother of Joseph Brown. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Durand had a passion for culinary arts at a very young age. He pursued his passion where he was loved and respected by his colleagues, many who became lifelong friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on September 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Services for Durand will conclude with a prayer service in the funeral home.
