Sean M. Downey, a lifelong resident of Woburn passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, August 5, 2020. He was 54 years of age. Born in Winchester he was the son of Mary T. (Harkins) Downey of Woburn, and the late John A. Downey.

Sean was a Woburn Memorial High School graduate. He worked for many years as a Print Manager in the printing industry. He loved horses especially Clydesdale horses and also loved air shows and jet flybys.

In addition to his mother, Sean is survived by his children; Brian Downey and his wife Sarah of North Billerica, Kristen Fallon and her husband Jared of Woburn, and Jason Downey of Woburn. He was the brother of Colleen Delano and her husband Michael of Woburn, Kathleen Driscoll and her late husband John Driscoll, Jr. of Billerica, Kevin Downey and his wife Doreen of Melrose. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Tuesday, August 11th, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Services will conclude with a memorial prayer service starting at 4 p.m. All attending must wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing protocols.
