Obituary

Kenneth E. “Ken” Webster, 72, of Derry, NH passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA, from heart failure after undergoing triple bypass surgery. Born in Cambridge, MA on February 8, 1948, he was raised in Somerville, MA where he graduated from Somerville Trade High School.

Ken served his country honorably in the US Army during Vietnam as a Sergeant, receiving the Vietnam Service Medal, National Service Medal and Army Commendation medal. He was a member of the American Legion and Disabled American veterans.

Ken worked in the retail business for over 50 years, retiring from BJ’S Wholesale Club as a merchandise manager. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, cooking and loved to take cruises. Ken also liked to play the lottery and feeding the birds and squirrels in the yard on a daily basis.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debra (Brudzisz) Webster of Derry, daughter, Tamra Snyder and her husband Paul Snyder of Bedford, NH, his two wonderful grandchildren whom he thought the world of, Kolby Webster and Kaylee Snyder, also of Bedford, his mother-in-law Marian Brudzisz of Derry, and his five siblings, John Webster of Londonderry, NH who gave numerous support and love through Ken’s illness, his sisters Polly Callier of Portsmouth, NH, Teresa Lynch of Old Orchard Beach, ME, William Murphy of Hampton, NH and Kevin Murphy of Kingston, NH.

Predeceased by his mother Lillian Murphy and sisters Gail Webster and Estelle Devlin.

There are no calling hours. Private graveside services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DAV – Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
