| Mr. Jimmy Lee, 85, of Sycamore, GA entered into Heaven, Wednesday, July 1, 2020 following a brief illness. Services will be private with burial in The Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
The son of the late Marcus Elroy and Lila Caroline Goodman Lee, he was born in Bluffton, GA. A retired salesman, he was a member of The Ashburn First Baptist Church where he was a deacon. A faithful Mason for over 55 years, he served as a Trustee for The Georgia Masonic Children’s Home and was a member of The Cordelia Lodge #296 in Cordele, Ga. Having never met a stranger, he shared Jesus through his testimony, loved giving what he had to others, and always had a joke or funny story to tell. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Brenda Hardy Lee of Sycamore; his daughters Vicky (Mike) Vincent of Loganville, GA and Michelle (James) Taylor of Ashburn, GA; a brother Jack Elroy Lee of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Davis Vincent and Jack Vincent of Loganville, GA and Ryan Taylor and Alex Taylor of Ashburn, GA, and a special niece Lisa Lee of Columbus, GA. While flowers will be accepted, for those who wish, donations maybe made to The American Cancer Society or The Ashburn First Baptist Church. | ||||
