Bill "Hotdog" Schattner, 78, of Anderson, died Monday, June 22, 2020 at home.
He was born on October 21, 1941 in Anderson, the son of Kenneth and Violet (Coon) Schattner.
He was employed by General Motors in production for 35 years and enjoyed playing golf. He served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion. He married Patricia Minton on June 9, 1973.
Bill is survived by his four children; Terri Speedy, Ginger (Russell) Waymire, Debbie (Vincent) Beer, and Jason Schattner; seven grandchildren; Casie, Eric, Shaun, Cody, Kaley, Jessica, and Samantha and three great grandchildren; sister, Jane Shroyer and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, and three siblings, Joan, Richard and Robert Schattner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The funeral will follow at 2 PM . Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
