Margaret (Bushong) Williamson, 92, Anderson died June 22, 2020 after a brief illness.
Margaret was born December 12, 1927 in Anderson, the daughter of Norman and Kathryn (Comstock) Bushong.
She was a teacher for Anderson Community Schools for 22 1/2 years from 1949 until she retired June 8, 1987. She attended Carthage Friends Meeting and was a substitute teacher for many years. She was very artistic. She quilted, painted, made stained glass, cooked and raised Yorkies.
She is survived by her four children, Paul (Rhonda) Williamson; Tim (Nick) Williamson, Valarie (John) Godfrey and Brian (Angie) Williamson; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, David Bushong; sister, Phyllis Estelle; several nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by parents, her husband, George P. Williamson died September 2, 1994; daughter, Carmen (Williamson) Tranter, and five siblings.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Amos Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 12 noon until the service at 1:30 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to Quaker Haven Camp.
