Otto was a humble, simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life such as cookouts, football games, church, and visiting family. He worked as a handyman and was a jack of all trades. He loved fixing things around the house, and helping others with things such as moving, home repairs, cleaning yards, or cutting down trees. He was a very handy person and good friend to many. Besides spending time at home with family or close friends, his other favorite place to be was Home Depot. He also enjoyed and appreciated the outdoors. Otto was born in Guatemala. He came to Massachusetts in his late 20’s and has been in Massachusetts for over 33 years. In Guatemala he grew up near the mountains, and as a young adult he lived near a forest. He had a big heart for all animals. He will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery to honor his love for nature and animals.
His family thanks all the wonderful staff at St Elizabeth’s Medical Center for providing such kind and attentive care. A very special heartfelt thank you to Alixis VanHorn who stayed with Otto until the very end.
Otto, you will be missed by so many. May you rest in peace and fly high into the sky like an eagle.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, his family will hold a small private funeral on Wednesday June 10th at Brady & Fallon Funeral Home.
