Willene Culpepper Beard, 88, of Ashburn passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Legacy Village in Tifton.
Willene was born on December 14, 1931 in Worth County to the late David C. and Eula Verner Culpepper. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookeeper at Ashburn Bank. She is survived by her sons, Charlie Beard of Sycamore and Chad Beard of Ashburn; grandchildren, Cheyanne (Ryan) Rigdon, Dylan (Kassie) Beard, Gretchen Johnson, Forrest Beard, Phoebe Beard and Collin Beard; great-grandchildren, Konnor Downs, Brantley Johnson and Mastin Rigdon. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sharon Beard, Sr., her sisters, Esteen Culpepper Willis, Guinelle Culpepper Lindsey and Odell Culpepper Shipman; brothers, Gilmer Culpepper and W. J. Culpepper. Due to government restrictions, all services will be private. | ||||
