William Parrilla affectionately known as Coto, died on April 24, 2020. William was born on May 24, 1954 to Providencia and Efigenio Parrilla in Fajardo (Rio Grande) Puerto Rico.
William graduated from Boston Trade High School in Boston, MA and was a retired 20 year veteran from the Sheet Metal Worker’s International Association, Local 17. William had a passion for baseball, fishing, cooking and painting. He loved salsa music, played the trumpet and was a great dancer. His love of being a father is what defined him, as well as, his great love for his family. He’s fondly remembered for his: charisma, heart of gold and unique love for helping others... Survived by his : brother, Jimmy Parrilla; sister Migdalia Parrilla-Montes; brother-in-law, Erasmo Montes; sons, William Parrilla Jr. and Jonathan Parrilla; Nieces, Abigail Parrilla, Lisandra Parrilla, Ariela Parrilla, Natalie Parrilla-Melendez and Lisabella Parrilla-Gonzalez; nephew, Nicholas Parrilla, and his grand- daughter, Katherine Parrilla. His family will gather for a private funeral service at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home on Friday May 1, 2020. His interment will take place at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale. | ||||
