SAURAY, Robert "Kennel" born August 26, 1930, lived a very long, peaceful, and happy life before passing away on April 20, 2020 at the age of 89 years old. His poised and kind spirit will continue to be felt for generations to come. He was such a warmhearted man, his face lit up with joy when he was surrounded by loved ones. His smile and giggles were contagious. Kennel resided at his apartment home in Brighton, MA where he lived for a majority of his senior life. Kennel could accomplish anything he set his mind to do, for he was vastly independent, active and a stubborn man at times but had a heart of gold. He was strong willed, persistent and quiet most times. He enjoyed sitting back and taking in life one day at a time.
Kennel had nine siblings, five sisters Claudette; Evelyn; Fernande; Janine; Nevia, four brothers Frantz; Fritz; Claudel; Wilfrank. Three adult children, Kenny, Fara and Brunette Sauray and has eight grandchildren Karina; Charles; Keana, Renee; Jenna; Keira; Kaila; Sara; and one great grandchild, Khamari.
Kennel loved to escape the bitter Boston cold by going for walks, or by frequently visiting his second home in Haiti. He was also an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking for his grandchildren whenever the opportunity bestowed itself. He will be missed but long remembered for his beautiful heart that touched so many.
