Robert E. Bonito, a lifelong resident of Dedham, passed away April 21, 2020 at the age of 66. Beloved husband and best friend for 45 years to Donna (Cyr) Bonito, Devoted father to Eric Bonito and his wife Barbara of Dedham and Leanne Kennedy and her husband Richard of Attleboro. Grandfather (Papa) to Bethany, Richard, and Russell. They are the loves of his life. Papa always looked forward to see his three blessings, he loved them more than they’ll ever know. Brother of Priscilla (Bonito) Strickland and her husband Robert of Dedham and the late Catherine (Bonito) Canonico. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a carpenter for most of his work years. He took pride in all of the work he did. He retired 5 years ago due to health issues. Bob loved playing golf in his spare time. He loved the beach and of course his pool in the back yard. He loved the many trips they took to Aruba.
Due to the coronavirus, a celebration of Bob’s life will be announced at a later date.
He will be laid to rest on Friday, April 24 in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
